- Symmetric Toothed Expansion Joints are made of steel plate, in the shape of comb teeth, the joint can reach the movement up to 240mm.

- With the small construction height, thickness of steel plate of finger expansion joint is 32-40mmm, so it’s unnecessary to preset the slot in the girder, easy for installation work.

- They are applicable to a wide range, on both old and new bridge. Especially, it is most suitable to the replacement of the rubber plate expansion joints on the old bridge.

- Besides, they are easy to  transportation inslallation without needing a super long truck or crane.

Asymmetric Toothed Expansion Joints

Feature of Asymmetric Toothed Expansion Joints:

- The surface of expansion joint is made of a steel plate in the shape of comb teeth, extending from both sides and engaged in the gap on the deck. Being a suspension structure with the high rigidity, the joint can bear great horizontal movement up to the magnitude of 420mm

- With the small construction height, this expansion joint can be installed just within the height of the deck pavement, unnecessary to preset the slot in the girder, greatly facilitating the design and construction.

- The joint is applicable to a wide range, on both old and new bridges. It is most adaptable to the replacement of the rubber plate expansion joints on old bridges with great magnitude of movement, which can't be replaced by the modular type of expansion joints with the great movement.

- The joint will ensure smooth, cozy driving without bumping or noise.

- This type of joints is easy for transport and installation, without needing a super long truck or a crane.

- This joint is low in cost, about 20% lower than the modular type of expansion joints with the great movement.
